Huntington Park is a city in southeast Los Angeles County, California, about six miles south of downtown Los Angeles. The 2020 census counted 54,883 residents in an area of roughly three square miles, making it one of the most densely populated cities in the region. Incorporated in 1906, Huntington Park grew as a streetcar suburb and commercial center, and its development is inseparable from Pacific Boulevard, the north-south thoroughfare that became its historic retail spine. For much of the twentieth century, Pacific Boulevard ranked among the region's premier shopping streets.
